What type of cover does 123.ie offer?

Our Comprehensive policy protects you for claims made for accidental damage to your own car as well as claims by Third Parties, including passengers for personal injuries or damage to property. You are also protected in the event of damage to or loss of your car by fire, theft or attempted theft. For the additional benefits of this type of policy, please see below:

  • Fire Brigade Charges - up to €1,500
  • Replacement Locks - up to €1,000
  • 24 Hr Breakdown Assist, 365 Days
  • Permanently Fitted Radio/Audio - up to €500
  • New Car Replacement
  • Windscreen Repair / Replacement
  • Temporary Courtesy Car while your vehicle is being repaired, subject to you making a valid claim and deciding to use one of the Approved Repairers recommended by the Insurer. Restrictions apply so please contact our Claims department first.
  • Emergency Overnight Accommodation - up to €380
  • Medical Expenses - up to €100
  • Personal Effects - up to €500
  • Personal Accident - up to €5,000

Third Party Fire and Theft cover protects you from claims made by Third Parties, including passengers for personal injuries or damage to their property. What type of vehicles does 123.ie cover?

The 123.ie policy is for private motor vehicles up to a maximum of 7 seats for private use.

  • Some makes and models are excluded
  • Some categories are also excluded

The following list (this list is not exhaustive) is an example of categories excluded.

  • Taxi
  • Motorcycle
  • Commercial Vehicles

Is open driving cover available?

No, 123.ie does not provide open driving cover.

How can I pay for the premium?

  • By credit card or debit card at no extra charge.
  • By monthly direct debit - an extra cost applies, details provided at time of quote.

What is the excess on my insurance policy?

This is the amount that the policyholder must pay towards a claim. The excess applicable to your policy is stated on your Insurance Schedule.

Is Breakdown Assistance included in my 123.ie Policy?

Yes. Both our Comprehensive and Third Party Fire and Theft policies include 24 hour Breakdown Assistance, 365 days a year, covering the island of Ireland. To avail of this service please contact 01 832 8358.

What if I am involved in an accident/claim?

What if I want to cancel my policy?

Cancellation instructions can be submitted to 123.ie in writing or over the phone by the policyholder. If the insurance certificate and disc have been issued, these must be destroyed by the policyholder. A cancellation fee may apply and if you cancel your motor insurance policy during the first year of insurance, the insurer's pro rata rates will apply. Please refer to the policy booklet and Terms of Business you received for more details.
