Making a Change to my Policy

If I don’t let my insurer know about changes could this affect my cover?

You need to let your insurer know about any changes that may affect your insurance policy. We would class anything that affects the risk of your policy as a material fact.

Failure to disclose all material information (i.e. information likely to influence the assessment and acceptance of your Proposal) or providing false information could result in one or more of the following actions:

a) your policy being cancelled;

b) your policy being treated as null and void;

c) a claim not being paid;

Should any of these actions be taken against you, then you will be obliged to disclose this on any future request for cover or quotation, which may cause you difficulty in trying to purchase insurance elsewhere.

If you are in any doubt whether any information is material, you should contact our Customer Care team. Remember if emailing us, it must come from the email address noted on your policy.
