What a few weeks it has been with Athletics Ireland as cross-country season well and truly kicked in.  It's such an incredible sport that promotes teamwork, determination, and a love for the outdoors. We're honoured to support and be involved with an organisation like Athletics Ireland that encourages fitness, camaraderie, and personal growth.

Our first stop led to Gowran in Kilkenny where the National Senior and Even ages took place in tough course conditions, but it would be Fiona Everard (Bandon AC) and Cormac Dalton (Mullingar Harriers) that claimed their first national senior titles at the 123.ie National Cross Country Championships. Both Everard and Dalton coped best in the tough conditions with both athletes ultimately going on to claim impressive wins over the new 9,000m distance. Then all roads led to Navan for the National Novice and Uneven Championships and Lucy Holmes (West Waterford AC) and Michael Murphy (Tullamore AC) were crowned national novice champions at the 123.ie National Novice and Juvenile Uneven Cross Country Championships which took place in Navan.

Were very proud at 123.ie to support communities across Ireland who continue to try for better every day and it’s the communities that bring the very best from our high performance athletes who are preparing for European Championships this weekend in Brussels. Fionnuala McCormack will lead an Irish squad stacked with European championship experience, we wish all the team the very best of luck, follow our social media channels to keep up to date with results.
