For Car Insurance Customers

If you are making a claim on your Car Insurance policy, there are different options that the claim team have in order to settle your claim:

1. Repairing any damage to your car. If your car has been damaged and you are happy to have it fixed by an RSA Insurance Approved Repairer you will not receive payment. Instead the garage will charge RSA Insurance directly for the repairs and you will not be asked to make payment other than your policy excess.

2. Replacing your car. In some circumstances if your car has been written off, RSA Insurance may source a replacement car for you. If they do this you will only have to pay the excess on your policy.

3. Reimbursing you for your loss. If RSA Insurance choose not to take either of the above options or they are not available, you will receive a cheque. The excess will be deducted from the claim amount.
