Your no claims bonus discount can only be used on one policy at a time.
If you are looking to insure a second car for the first time you will need to have named driving experience available to use on your policy. You can then start to build up a second no claims bonus in your own name.
Named driving experience must be consecutive with no gaps in cover and claims free. It must be earned within the last 3 months in Ireland or the UK on a private motor policy.
