Making a Change to my Policy

How do I change my start date?

For Car Insurance Customers

If you have just set up your policy and are looking to change the start date you can call our Customer Care team on 01 524 6029 and we will arrange this for you. 

We can only amend your start date once we have received your proof of no claim discount or named driving experience and you haven’t already made any changes to your policy. 

Please remember we cannot backdate your cover to a past date. 

For Home Insurance Customers

If you have just set up your policy and are looking to change the start date you can call our Customer Care team on 01 524 6029 and we will arrange this for you.                             

We can only change the start date once you haven’t already made any changes to your policy.

Please remember we cannot backdate your cover to a past date.

                                                                     

For Travel Insurance Customers

If you have just set up your policy and are looking to change the start date you can call our Travel team on 01 241 8549 and we will arrange this for you. We can only amend your start date once you are within your 14 day cooling off period, have not commenced your trip or made claims on your policy.

If you are outside of your cooling off period, you will need to cancel the policy and set up a new one with the correct dates.
