Before you Insure

I got an error when buying online, am I covered?

Once you have paid successfully, your policy will be active from your chosen start date and time. After you pay, a screen will appear thanking you for buying your insurance with 123.ie, and confirms the payment amount.

If you did not enter your payment information and you received an error, then the policy will not be on cover.

Payment in Full:

If you chose to pay in full and after entering your card details you received the message below:

“There was a problem processing your card please check your details are correct and try again”

If you receive this message, no cover is in place.

We recommend that you confirm and retry your card details. If this is unsuccessful again, contact your bank.

Direct Debit:

If you chose to pay by direct debit and after entering in your card details, you received the message below:

“Oops! Are you sure your details are correct? Please check and click “Pay Now” or call us on 01 524 6000 we’re happy to help”

We recommend that you confirm and retry your card details.

If this attempt is still unsuccessful, you will see the following message on the confirmation page:

“Your credit card details have been accepted and your upfront payment amount has been paid. Your policy is now set up”

“However, we have been unable to set up your direct debit. Please call us on 01 524 6000 (Monday to Saturday) to ensure your cover continues”.
